Welcome to Kings Food Mart. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to these terms. They're written to be clear and fair — so you know exactly what to expect from us, and what we expect from you.

01 Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Kings Food Mart (RC 8980702). By accessing the site, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you're at least 18 years old and that you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the store.
02 Your account
To shop with us, you'll create an account with your name, email, phone number and a password. You agree to:
- Give accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password confidential and not share your account.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or are used for fraud.
03 Orders & acceptance
When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. Your order is only accepted once we confirm it — usually by an order confirmation message. Until then, we may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, a price was listed in error, or we can't deliver to your area.
04 Prices & payment
- Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira (₦) and, where stated, include applicable taxes.
- Prices for fresh produce and market goods can change with the market; the price that applies is the one shown when your order is confirmed.
- Payment is made through our approved payment methods at checkout. We don't store your full card details.
- If a price is clearly wrong due to a typing or system error, we'll contact you before processing rather than charge the incorrect amount.
05 Delivery
We offer same-day delivery within our service areas, subject to order cut-off times and availability. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by traffic, weather or other factors outside our control. Please make sure someone is available to receive the order at the address you provide. Free delivery applies to orders above the threshold shown on the site.
06 Returns, refunds & cancellations
Your satisfaction matters to us. Because much of what we sell is fresh or perishable, some rules apply:
- If an item arrives damaged, spoiled, or isn't what you ordered, contact us within 24 hours with a photo and we'll replace it or refund you.
- Perishable goods can't be returned once accepted unless there's a quality issue.
- You can cancel an order before it's dispatched. Once it's out for delivery, cancellation may not be possible.
- Approved refunds are made to your original payment method within a reasonable time.
07 Products & availability
We work hard to describe and picture our products accurately, but natural items vary in size, colour and appearance, and photos are for illustration. All products are subject to availability, and we may limit quantities on bulk or high-demand items. We reserve the right to withdraw or change products at any time.
08 Acceptable use
When using our site, you agree not to:
- Break any law or infringe anyone's rights.
- Interfere with the site's security or normal operation, or attempt to access it in unauthorised ways.
- Submit false information or place fraudulent orders.
- Copy, scrape, or misuse our content without permission.
09 Intellectual property
The Kings Food Mart name, logo, site design, text and graphics belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use the site to shop as intended, but you may not reproduce or reuse our branding or content without our written permission.
10 Limitation of liability
We provide the store with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays and failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
11 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts. We'll always try to resolve any concern with you directly and fairly first.
12 Changes & contact
We may update these terms as our store evolves or the law changes. The current version always lives on this page, with the "last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the store after a change means you accept the updated terms.
